Davida S. Perry and Brian Heller hosted a webinar on April 22, 2021 entitled “ COVID-19 – Vaccines, Remote Working and Leave Issues: The Latest Developments.” Ms. Perry and Mr. Heller covered hot topics such as “Can my employer require that I be vaccinated.” “Am I entitled to an accommodation because I am afraid to go to the workplace” and “How will my career advance if I am working from home.” The answers to these questions are important as workplaces begin to open up and lives go back to “normal.” The answers are also evolving and changing as new information about COVID-19 and the vaccine, for instance, becomes known. The feedback on the webinar was positive and Ms. Perry and Mr. Heller look forward to following up and revisiting these important subjects.
